3A Entrepreneurship Story, Daniel Plattner

The most recent story I have involving being an entrepreneur was actually within the past 3 months and it involved all my roommates and myself. So we had a dilemma in our living room where we had two 50'' televisions stacked on top of each other in our living room taking up a great deal of space. My roommates and I wanted to get rid of the TVs and gain space so we all brainstormed ideas of what to do. Finally it hit me that we could set up a projector and make a screen as big as our whole  wall. First we called waste management to come and pick up both TVs and then we went online and purchased a projector and then I took measurements of the wall and got an estimate of how much black-out screen cloth we would need and went to a store to purchase that. Once we had the cloth we hung it up and nailed it into our wall and now we have a 100'' projector screen set up in our living room. Very excited to watch the Superbowl this year with it!

I enrolled into this class for two reasons. The first being that it is a required class to help with my minor in business and also more importantly I want to develop the skills and abilities to become a great entrepreneur. My ultimate goal in life is to become my own boss and I feel that all great entrepreneurs one way or another end up becoming their own boss.
