So my opportunity I came across was creating "Books-to-Go" which would basically be a Redbox type system but instead of movies there would be books and magazines. This "Books-to-Go" was first thought of to help pass the time during airline travel as I would create numerous shops within multiple airlines across the nation that would hold plentiful books and magazines. These books and magazines would serve the purpose of reading while either on a flight or waiting for one's flight. A great and sufficient way to pass time.
After conducting all of my interviews the two biggest problems that popped up was 1.) having a large enough supply of books/magazines to appease the optimal customer. To solve this issue I would have to first obtain a fairly large amount of space within the airport to hold such many books/magazines. Then once said space is obtained I would research the top selling books/magazines of different genres and only have those one's up for renting. But to ensure satisfaction of customers who ask for a book or magazine that I do not have I would ask them to write down the name of the book and I would potentially obtain that book for future usage. The second issue that arises was the return policy of the book. Most people when they read, will read sections of a book at a time and then take a break. Because of this many people would need to hold onto their books/magazines for a fair amount of time because how far can you really get into a book when waiting to takeoff for a flight or while flying. I was thinking the best way to satisfy that needs would to be create book drop offs within major towns and cities that could be a place for people to deliver the books once they finish instead of the airport. Then we could hire drivers to go around a collect all the books dropped off at these off-store locations
